Recently, Michele was recognized in a feature celebrating Patricia “Peppermint Patti” Collins, President of the Bootsy Collins Foundation, for her extraordinary philanthropic work and receipt of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. In the article, Michele is quoted as a partner in BCF’s meaningful efforts to uplift children and families throughout the Cincinnati area.

“I am the luckiest woman to have met Patti and seen how every challenge becomes a joyous and loving catapult for change,” Michele shared.

Supporting the Next Generation Through the Land of Superheroes Program

One of the most impactful collaborations between Michele Young and the Bootsy Collins Foundation is the Land of Superheroes program, created to help children recognize their strengths, build confidence, and break cycles of bullying.

The program encourages young people to discover their own “superpowers” - kindness, courage, compassion, and resilience - while fostering a sense of belonging and hope.

As Patti Collins explained, the goal is to remind children that they can be heroes in their own lives and communities.

Michele added:
